Blaser F3 wins the US Open

The youngest winner in the history of the US Open: With an outstandingperformance the only 16-year-old F3 shooter David Radulovich placed first at the US Open at the end of June 2009 in Owenton/Kentucky. Apart from the Sporting Nationals in SanAntonio/Texas, the US Open is among the most significant and largest shooting events in the US with close to 1000 participants.

David reached an impressive 192 out of 200, not only leaving behind alarge number of participants but the most favored top shooters of the US. Since the introduction of the F3 in the US in 2005 this has been thebiggest success for Blaser in an American shooting competition to date.

Cory Kruse and Janet McDougall were also very successful with their F3 shotguns. Cory Kruse won the Prelim competition with 97 of 100 and Janet McDougall placed first in the 5-Stand competition in the women´s class. Already prior to the US Open, the F3 shooters proved to be in top form.

At the TexasState Shoot mid June where several hundred participants took part, thefirst three places of the podium were occupied by Blaser F3 shooters: CoryKruse reached gold outpacing Brian Hughes and Tom Mack. Janet McDougallwas also at the top as she placed first in the women´s class.
